Kennel
Dewmist is now on its 8th generation since the beginning
and further generation is planned for the spring of 2000.
The
Multi Best In Show winner Ch Dewmist Corindabella
is sired by the above mentioned Ch Dewmist Chrysander and
Ch Dewmist Santinella. She is still going strong at 13 years
old and she won a couple of BOBs and runner up in group
at 10,5 years. Quite a special lady indeed!

A
famous bitch of her time was
Ch Dewmist Solitaire, who
won Best In Show many times over. She also produced a chain
of winneers in her litters and perhaps the most wellknown
of them all is Ch Dewmist Swinging On A Star. This
topwwining son of hers has won many BOBs and twice Best In
Show at the GRC National, something several dogs from the
Dewmist kennel have achieved over the years. He also was Best
In Show at the Kennel Club show in Sundsvall in 1999. |

sister Ch Dewmist Sky Is The Limit is a topwinning dog
in Italy and a winner at the Club Show in Switzerland. Ch Dewmist
Spice Shadow is a young Best In Show winning daughter and the
dam is Styal Sacharilla (Ch Stirchley Saxon-Styal Sepia).

Dewmist Solitaire was mated by Al from the top winning dog
in Holland, Multi Ch Standfast Angus in 1993. The son Ch Dewmist
Sacramento stayed at the kennel. The same year Ch Styal
Sheer
Scandal
(Ch Remington Ramsey-Styal Sepia) was imported and he has a super
career too.

an oustanding litter of the young CC winning team Ch Dewmist

own Dewmist Savannah.

SV-97 Marjamez Masterpiece

In
1997 the young English dogs Styal Santangelo (Ch Stanroph
Soldier Boy-Styal Sacharissa) and Marjamez Masterpiece
(Elswood the Highlander-Ch Gaineda Imperial Ice) came to Dewmist.
Both have a terrific career winning the CC & BOB at their
first shows. Masterpiece hade his debut at the Stockholm Int.
at 10 months winning BOB under Mrs Freda Marshall. He has
since won 8 CCs and also Best In Show in August 1998. |

Best In Show on his debut under Mrs Eileen Allan-Rossiter.
During
1998 new generations of Dewmist pups have seen the daylight
by these young lads. The latest import is Styal Silksilla
(Remington Rory-Styal Scottish Symphonia) who is linebred
to the fabulous Ch Styal Susila. A male puppy was also bought
by Styal Santangelo and the Ch Dewmist Santinella daughter
Solstrimmans Zimzalabim. Another promising puppy by the
name Solstrimmans Wizard at Dewmist.

Highlights of the year includes winning BOB at the prestigious Skokloster show under mesdames Woods & Woodcock with Ch Dewmist Swinging On A Star. Later in the year the Hungarian Gundog specialist Tamas Jakkel awarded this top winning dog the Group at a major KC show. |

The veteran Ch Dewmist Deirdre Dee was BOB under Mrs Hewitson while her daughter Dewmist The Dynasty won another CC and BOB. The grandsons Dewmist Dallingho and Dewmist Dallisandro (Denmark) won CCs.
Styal Santangelo won the CC, BOB and reserve BIS under Mrs Allan-Rossiter. Ch Styal Sheer Scandal, himself a BIS-winner, is delighted so many of the progeny are winning top awards worldwide, has now been joined by his niece Styal Silksilla.
SV-97 Marjamez Masterpiece has had a spectacular year in the ring. Made his debut at the Stockholm Int Show in Dec 1997 at 10 months under Mrs Marshall winning the CC and BOB. Dewmist Castellina won her 3rd CC and BOS at the same show. Masterpiece has since won another 7 CCs including BOB under Miss Wilcock where Dewmist Clarinetto won the CC and BOS. He is also a Best In Show winner. |
| The year ended in style at the Stockholm international where Ch Dewmist Swinging On A Star and Ch Dewmist Shade of Pale won both reserve CACIB. Much to my delight Swinging On A Star's progeny group was placed 5th in the finals. The Dewmist breeders group was placed 2nd also in the finals. The Above out of all the competing breeds. |

Abroad Swiss Ch Dewmist Surprise Venture, top Golden of 1997, got titled this year. In Holland Dewmist Capolavoro won the reserve CC at the Dutch club show. The Can ch Dewmist Santorini was crowned and has already produced champion progeny as his litter brother Dewmist Silverado in Australia.

Int & Belg Ch Dewmist Santiago in Belgium won a Field Trial and gained his title.

Dewmist Savannah won her 3rd Swedish CC under the Golden specialist Mr Eivind Mjaerum at the first Int show in Gothenburg. Also BOB and 3rd in the Gundog Group. In the middle of February she got her second Norwegian CC.
In Israel Ch Dewmist Dornadilla (Ch Styal Sheer Scandal-Dewmist The Dynasty) has started the year winning three CCs and the championtitle.

Ch Dewmist Santiago (brother tol D. Savannah) has gained three CCs during the spring, one in Luxemburg and two in Germany. In July he got another CC in Luxemburg and became Lux Ch.
Ch Dewmist Swinging On A Star became BIS-veteran at the KC show in Västerås, while SV-97 Marjamez Masterpiece got another CC. The Dewmist breeders group was placed 3rd also in the finals. The above out of all the competing breeds.
Dewmist Castellina (3 Swedish CCs) got her first Norwegian CC under Mrs Heather Morris. In Croatia Dewmist Simply Gold (SV-97 Marjamez Masterpiece-Ch Dewmist Shade of Pale) was BOB, Groupwinner and 3rd in the BIS-final at an allbreedshow. In June he got his first CC and in July he got the title Croatian Junior Ch.

At the Skokloster show Dewmist Savannah was best bitch and
Ch Dewmist Deirdre Dee second best bitch at 10 years of age under Mrs Jennifer Johnson. Dewmist Savannah was also BIS out of all the BOS winners. Ch Dewmist Swinging On A Star became BOB-veteran under Mrs Heather Morris, he also became BIS-veteran. |

SV-97 Marjamez Masterpiece got his second Norwegian CC and BOB under Mrs Valerie Foss at the international Norwegian Kennel Club show in Oslo in the middle of August.
At the Swedish Kennel Club show in Sandviken Dewmist Constellation (7 years old) became BOB from veteran. Constellation is the mother of the winning Dewmist Castellina, Clarinetto and Capolavoro.

| At the last show for the year, the prestigious international Kennel Club show in Stockholm, Kulawand Rainbow Man won CC, CACIB and BOB under Mrs Karin Eriksson. He won the Gundog group under Mrs Marianne Holm-Hansen and was finally placed BIS-3 under Mrs Marianne Fürst-Danielsson! Ch Dewmist Swinging On A Star was BOB-veteran and BIS-veteran both days. His progenygroup was BIS and the breedersgroup BIS-4. What a fantastic end of a great showyear! |
